While many people may be excited to get a new pet that has interactive features, try to remember that by merging your account, you are making your email address your login name and sharing this information with a 3rd party ie: PepsiCo(as opposed to just Blizzard) and that opens up a whole plethora of possible account security issues. If you choose to do so, it is in no way linked to your Battle.net account.

Faction Flags: A Participant can create his/her own Horde or Alliance faction flag on the Website and download and post his/her faction flag on message boards, personal websites, and blogs and earn 25 Tokens per Promotion Period. For each person who clicks on the Participant's faction flag and completes the Initial Sign-In in to the Website, the Participant will earn 50 Tokens. The shocking thing about this page is that it is severely lacking a piece of information.

After obtaining the pet, during the promotion with Mountain DewTM, if you logged onto the website on a daily basis, all your tunes got Blue War Fuel or Red War Fuel (Dont know how to link) of which you got five (5) for which ever you choose on that day. You could carry both colors.

IF you had the Warbot, and you came across someone else who had it, if the fuels were opposing (one red, one blue) the two bots would fight. If they were the same color, they would be friendly to each other.

There is no way to get more fuel, and they dont plan on making a way to add more. (per GM)

Currently on the Mists beta, engineers can create the Warbot pet. It remains BoP, but that may very well change. Great if you missed out on the Mountain Dew promotion!

As of patch 5.0 these can be purchased from Blax Bottlerocket in org along with the fuel needed for it. I assume you can also buy it from the alliance equivalent vendor.

This item is now available for purchase from various toy vendors; thus, the item is now available again in-game for 500g (discounts from reputation do apply).

I have no idea why I got this.To think I was too lazy to go to Dalaran and pick one up yesterday...

I just checked all my other toons...they all have it, So now I have atleast 5 Warbots.Anyone else getting them by mail?

So...I suggest not to waste the gold and just check your mailbox. (I'm from EU btw)

Edit: All the keys I took out of the mailbox and did not use dissapeared, this was before I "learned" the pet. I logged another alt of mine and quickly learned it before they took it away completely.

During the release of the promotion also EU-client had the chance to earn this pet but sadly this was uninended thus they removed shortly after, but today Jepetto Joybuzz mailed him again!

People complaining about others getting this pet need to be reminded of something. Warbot's best feature wasn't the ability to make you look special, it was being loaded with fuel and released to fight in massive swarms of red and blue.

Do not bemoan the pet becoming more common. Organize a massive battle in Trade District instead.

There seems to be a bug at the moment that after buying the warbot and/or fuel and using the portal to Stormwind all said items disappear. Contacted a GM over this and got my items replaced and told it was fixed but that i should learn or mail the item before using a portal again. However i have just checked again after purchasing some fuel and found that this is not the case the items still disappear.

Just a warning to everyone, hopefully this gets fixed soon, not much fun not being able to move around while carrying fuel.

Not sure if anyone else pointed this out, but since they put all your mounts and pets together, you obviously only need this once. Keeping that in mind, I got it on a new character and was in for a nice surprise when I found out I could vendor it for 125g. Pretty nice for a level 2.

I was making good money buying these and reselling them. Bought a new one to sell this morning, only to find it's now soulbound.

You can only learn one of them (get a "can't learn anymore of this pet" error if you try to learn a second), and you can't cage them.

You can't sell the key back to a vendor either, so if you make a mistake and buy a second, you're out the 500 gold.

I personally think those of us that got these pets back in the day with the Mountain Dew promotion should have our tanks filled permanently for aesthetic reasons only. I don't care if the pet itself has better abilities, I just want something that says "hey, I did that promo" so that some kiddo can't run by and say "so what, I got the same reward for a little gold.. YOLO"

PS: I hate that term: YOLO ~ Countered really well with a term from MY generation... "No **** Cpt. Obvious!"

In case anyone is wondering, this pet is temporarily and accidentally disabled right now due to glitches associated with Patch 5.4.7. Blizzard claims they are working on a solution to restore everyone's pets (and mounts).

You can redeem your battle bot by going to http://www.mountaindewgamefuel.com/index.php#/signin then clicking on the redeem your battle bot link at the bottom right corner of the flash section of the site. You will have to login to your battle.net account and then it pops up in your mailbox in game.

You have to go back to the Game Fuel promo page everyday to get fuel. Most likely it will be the same link you used to get the bot. We will find out tomorrow.

Apparently obtaining the Battle-Bot is NOT restricted to the US. There have been multiple people on EU server that have been able to get theirs.

Just click on the link at the Game Fuel site and merge your WoW account into a Battle.net one to recieve it.

Since you don't have to log into the Game Fuel site there's no way for them to know if you are US or EU.

Go to the Mountain Dew Game Fuel website and look next to the Blue Alliance bottle and you should see something that says to claim your pet.

Click it and it will redirect you to the Battle.net site where you enter your login information.

After doing so, restart WoW and login, now you have the Battle-Bot in your Mailbox.

If you are wondering if the Clockwork Rocket Bot will do anything to your or their Battle-Bot, sadly, it does nothing.

To get fuel for your Battle-Bot, do basically the same thing to redeem your Battle Bot, but this time, it'll give you an option to either pick the Red Battle Fuel or Blue Battle Fuel.

You receive the Battle Fuel in game through the mail system and it doesn't matter if you pick Blue or Red.

You get a stack of 5 Battle Fuel per day.

You HAVE to merge your World of Warcraft account with your Battle.net account! Practically, it means that your account name will be a lot longer (probably) since your Battle.net account name is an email address.

Just think about it before making that change.

as of June 9, 2009: You can obtain this pet by going to the mountaindew game fuel website (http://www.mountaindewgamefuel.com) and clicking on the battle bot icon on the lower right side of the page. and then this will redirect you to your battle.net login screen. you will receive your battle bot pet on ALL your characters in that account.

I just got my pet and yes all toons on your account get the pet, yes you can only claim the fuel once a day after youve gotten your battle bot.

Visit the MD website, and click the button in the bottom right to redeem a battle-bot. Login with your Battle.net account details (it's us.battle.net URL, but the Battle.net accounts are universal) and it will tell you the promotion is US only - however, scroll down, and click Redeem!

It should then tell you to log out, and log back in.

I did this, and received my Battle-Bot pet from Jepetto Joybuzz in the mail on each of my characters, and also received it on a new character I made after redeeming the pet!

Update: Returning to the same redemption page, you can select Red or Blue Battle Fuel to be sent (same deal, log out etc) to your mailbox. This works on the EU side, and can be done once per day (may not work same day as your bot for some.)

You could do this on EU Realms. Most likely a bug. Just got mine tonight but apparently they hotfixed the morning of the 10th so that EU players cannot get this pet anymore. It appears that if you got fuel (you get 5 at a time) on an EU server, that's all the fuel you'll get ever (to be confirmed).

Once you redeem your battlebot here you will receive the little bot when you log on. And, after testing it, upon creating a new character, a Battle-Bot will be sent to you.

the bots do 10-11 dmg to eachother(with only 42 health) and they hit at the same time. who ever goes into battle with more health will walk away. the loser has to use another fuel.

when two same color are near they give off static discharge of their color with each other. this does nothing beneficial.after having my wounded bot sit by another blue bot(at full health) for 10 minutes my bot had no extra buff nor was he healed.

This robot makes similar noises to the Clockwork Bot, but with a different voice modulation in place.

I'm a little surprised there's no feat of strength for owning this guy, considering there's been one for other promotional pets (Vampire Hunter, Spirit of Competition) and events (WoW's 4th Anniversary). I suppose they'll eventually add one in.

I know that others have stated this earlier but i don't think people realize all the drawbacks there can be from merging your Battle.net account with your WoW account.

1. Once you merge the accounts, your login-name will be changed into your e-mail address. Please concider if it is worth it to change your potentially simple account-name to one that is much longer, just to obtain this pet.You might be going from something like "dude" to "thedude292933@hotmai*.com".

2. Once you merge the accounts you will trigger the character-transfer "cooldown", meaning you won't be able to transfer your character in 30 days after the merge.On top of that, if you wish to transfer a character to another account, then the target account must have completed this battle.net merge as well.Both the accounts also need to be registered in the same last-name.

Think it through before you merge.

I followed all of the instructions but nothing is appearing ingame. I already have a battle.net account tied to my wow account & logged in & redeemed it through the mountaindew website/battle.net, but still.. no mail. When I try to redeem it again, battle.net says I've already redeemed one for today.

I've restarted and relogged onto WoW more than 5 times.. anyone having any similar problems ? /dodohead

1. Woudn't really be a problem since you can tick the box "Remember Account Name", only be a minor nuisance when you play at someone else or lan etc.2. Okay that kinda sucks but, really. How often do you transfer your character between realms? Same goes for character transfer to another account. You can only do that to accounts you own, so you could easily merge those as well.

But you are right, if you do this for a pet, do take this stuff in mind.

Looks like this has been fixed on EU realms. Managed to redeem the bot yesterday but after redeeming some fuel today, it said that it was a success on the Battle.net page but the in-game mail never came.

I got the same problem. Signed up for it this morning on the EU realm and it said it was successful but no in-game mail for the Battle-Bot. When i logged into the battlenet it said i had already claimed my reward for today and to check back tomorrow. I can only think it's bugged on EU realms or something.

There WAS a bug in which this pet was avaliable to European Players, This bug/glitch lasted for 3 hours until blizzard caught on and Hotfixed it imediately after they heard of it, Players in the EU who obtained their Battle-Bot were NOT banned and were able to KEEP their pet, Unfortunately the EU are no longer able to redeem fuel for the bot (luckily for me i got a crate of red fuel with my battle-bot :P, shame i only have 2 fuels left).

Edit: If you had it in the mail before they fixed it, and you didn't open the mail to retrieve it say bye bye to your Battle-Bot. as they deleted the unread mails containing the pet.

if you had read it but not taken the pet out, it will still be there, same if you didn't use it and it's still in your bag.

Those who are wondering on how to get your Battle Bot Fuel you must get it the day after you got your robot you can only request 1 redeemed item a day.Edit. Those who are in EU Realms are now confirmed no longer to get the pet, Blizzard have not saw thise for 3 hours until someone must of tipped them in on how to get it. You will keep it but it will not get any fuel for it, this pet is now a little Feat of Strength for you though you wont get those tanks filled. so might as well show it off now.

Everyone should get this while you have the chance, because one way or another you will be switching to a Battle.net account. Wether it be now, when you get a pet for it, or later when blizzard forces you to is your choice.

There was a glitch on the site that allowed EU players to obtain the pet on the evening of June 9th. During the maintenance that night, the glitch was fixed, and any pets which were still in the mailbox were deleted. Anyone who had looted the pet from the mail and either had the key in their bags, or had learned the pet, as of now still have their Battle-Bot.

After reading some of the questions, go to mountaindewgamefuel.com a day after you recieve your Battle Bot and hit the button on the lower right corner (same one you used to get your bot) log on battle net, choose your color, hot confirm, and then the fuel will be sent to all of your characters.

There will be rolling restarts of all realms to remove promotional items not intended for European realms starting at approximately 05:00, Paris time (CEST). Each realm will receive a 15 minute notice prior to being restarted.

At 2am 11/06/09 my Battle-Bot was unable to use: "Spell not learned" error.It seems that EU realm players will have their Battle-Bot blocked/removed. The credit towards Lil' Game Hunter wasn't reverted tho.

EDIT: at 2:28 the spell was gone/removed from my Companion list, credit however remained.

I just logged back on after roll-restart and i still have my Battle-Bot. Seems they only deleted the mail in mailbox that had the pet or the fuel. To those that managed to get the pets before restart. GZ ;) the others... Bad luck

After i logged back in it was still there on my list. when i tried to use it i got "Spell not learned" so i tried to go to another zone. then i noticed it has vanished from my Companions list. But too those that were collecting pets for the Lil' Game Hunter then it counts. Before i gotten the Battle-Bot i had 51.. now i have 52 even after the Battle-Bot vanished from my window.

Message from Blizzard during the login screen earlier:Blizzard will restart realms to "remove for europe unintended promotional items from the realms".

So the pet is gone, but the ones who have learned it still see it in their pets tab allthough you will get the "Spell not learned" error. But indeed, it counts towards any pet achievements, so not a complete waste.

Edit: Seems like wowhead deleted any comment about the error blizzard made when implementing this US only pet. EU servers could obtain this pet due to an error in the way the redeem system worked. For a short window EU players could obtain the pet, and its fuel (both of which I obtained on my character on an EU server). On the morning of the 10th blizzard hotfixed the mistake, but players who had obtained the pet still were allowed to keep it. After around 24 hours EU players who had obtained the pet had them and their fuel removed.

If you are on a US sever, yes. EU servers have had their bots and fuel removed and obtaining either has stopped working (though if you did get a bot originally, you can still get through to the request fuel section at the EU address though you will not receive fuel in game).

The pet will be properly awarded to Canadian Battle.net accounts, even thought the Mountain Dew site will only accept a US address.

As of patch 4.0.6, the Warbot in my Main had dissapeared. Strange thing, it still remains in my alts, and if i create a new one, he still gets the pet. Don't know why my main had it deleted :/

Hmm, the item ID is one higher than Gold Medallion, which teaches the pet for the 2008 Olympics pet, Spirit of Competition.This pet could be a scrapped alternate design that remained in the game files. But why did it appear in the Latest Additions again now, which usually means the item was discovered or changed? Will this item be re-used as a pet linked to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver?

Also, you are talking about the wrong pet.The Essence of Competition was available to Chinese servers only during the Beijing Olympic games, for achieving certain milestones (E.g. Raising 5 Outland reputations to exalted, having a 1650+ arena rating etc.) while the Spirit of Competition was available to everyone.It had a chance to be mailed to you when you won a BG.

This pet, however, is completely different to those two.Namely, it has a different name and had appeared in the Latest Additions section of the database, meaning it was deployed with patch 3.3.Therefore, we can reasonably assume that, yes, this is a new pet that will be made availableto commemorate the Canadian winter Olympic games, and ONLY available during the Canadian winter Olympic games. It will most likely be obtainable in the same fashion as Spirit of Competition.

My bet is, seeing as Blizz went with a Chinese dragon during the games at Beijing, the pet will resemble a national icon of Canada.Such as a wild Canadian goose (AWESOME!) or a moose (Plz no recycled shoveltusk skins? -_-).

You could obtain the pet from a promotion activity during 2008 beijing Olympics.The promotion called "crazy summer". During it, you could get the code for the pet when you got any two TBC factions exalted.TBC Factions that exalted before this promotion begun did not count as the credit. And that is why I missed the chance to obtain this pet.I grinded all TBC factions exalted before this suddenly appeared promotion.

During the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics by winning any battleground on any level you had a chance to receive a Gold Medallion via the in-game mail. The Gold Medallion in fact summons (spell) a mini-pet called the Spirit of Competition (picture) in the form of a Chinese dragon.

By participating in a battleground game on any battleground, on any level, you would, during that time, always receive a Competitor's Tabard, whether you won or lost.

Talking to a commoner during the Olympics in any of the capital cities gave you further information on how to gain these items.

Every two years the Spirits of Competition grow especially fervent... and now is that time! We wear this tabard into the Battlegrounds to honor them, seeking to defeat our enemies and earn their favor.

Q: How do I earn a Competitor's Tabard?A: You need only face our rivals in any of the Battlegrounds. Win or lose, if you stay for the duration of the battle, you will be mailed a Competitor's Tabard.

Q: How can I gain the favor of a Spirit of Competition?A: You must defeat our rivals in any of the Battlegrounds. With every victory, there is a chance that a Gold Medallion will be mailed to you.

This pet will not be released on US and EU servers. The NPCs found on those servers to redeem the code are a bug.

Throughout each day of the event in China, the code is mailed to 500 random players. Only players who have achieved various in-game milestones during the event are eligible for a chance to receive the code. Some milestones include having an Arena rating of 1650+, increasing reputation for certain Outland factions from less than revered to exalted, or raising a crafting profession from 350 or less to 375.

Hints:

Any battleground which you participate in, whether won or lost, will award you with the tabard.
Any battleground which you won may award you with the gold medallion.
You don't need to win 3 (or more) games in a row to get the gold medallion.
You don't need to be #1 in kills or healing etc. to get the gold medallion.
You don't need to be wearing the tabard to get the gold medallion.
The mini-pet seems to be of the same level as the player who acquired it.

I would recommend going to complete the quest where you kill 6 Heyenas, then grab yourself a drink and a snack and watch a quick youtube vid while you stand on the quest marker spot on the map so that you can be the first one up to complete the quest when he spawns again. Сегодня мы поговорим о том, возможно ли завести скутер, или компактный мотоцикл без ключа, что для этого нужно сделать, а также об особенностях запуска китайских и японских скутеров; ведь различные типы скутеров могут иметь немного разные замки зажигания, и способы запуска скутеров также будут отличаться.

Запуск скутера без ключа: возможно ли?

Конструкция скутера характеризуется мобильностью и маневренностью. Чаще всего его двигатель запускается с помощью ключа зажигания, но потерять его можно достаточно просто. Если ключ от скутера сломан или потерян, то нужно обратиться к специалисту, чтобы изготовить новый ключ, но в целях безопасности лучше поменять замок зажигания на новый. Когда ключ потерян в дороге, и впереди еще предстоит длинный путь, то необходимо знать о том, как можно завести скутер без ключа и добраться до места назначения.

Заводим скутер: алгоритм действий

Запуск скутера Иногда случается так, что необходимо завести скутер без ключа, и сделать это можно с помощью отвертки. Сначала необходимо получить допуск к замку зажигания, сняв передний щиток или переднюю обшивку. Для этого отверните винты на нижней и верхней панели от рулевой колонки. Тогда потихоньку поддевайте и снимайте пластиковые панели, которые закрывают цилиндр замка зажигания. Затем возьмите плоскую отвертку и аккуратным движением вбейте ее в сердцевину замка зажигания.

Осторожно, не спеша, поворачивайте отвертку по часовой стрелке, тем самым поворачивая до упора сердцевину замка (действие отвертки в таком случае будет похожим на действие ключа). Порой поворачивать требуется, не доходя на один шаг до крайнего положения, чтобы обеспечить безопасность при запуске двигателя.

Важно! Использование отвертки никак не гарантирует стопроцентного запуска двигателя, и при этом может повлечь за собой поломку замка зажигания. Чтобы избежать подобных проблем, постарайтесь заранее позаботиться о приобретении запасных ключей зажигания.

Особенности японского и китайского скутеров

Большинство японских скутеров двухтактные, с воздушным охлаждением, обладают хорошими динамическими характеристиками, быстро набирают скорость, экономичные, простые в своей конструкции, и при подобающем уходе долговечны. Но имеются у них и свои недостатки: очень шумные и дымные, потребляют, помимо топлива, еще и специальное моторное масло, которое заливается в отдельный бачок, и их дизайн довольно устарел. Как альтернатива японским скутерам выступают китайские. Они четырехтактные, с принудительным воздушным охлаждением, потребляют меньше топлива, надежные и имеют необычный внешний вид, что делает их популярными среди молодежи.

Как завести скутер из Китая

Завести скутер китайского производителя без ключа очень просто, не имея даже специальных навыков, и все потому, что на них обычно устанавливаются замки зажигания на четыре контакта. Чтобы это сделать, нужно добраться до электропроводки, которая ведет к замку зажигания, и разъединить разъем. Необходимо будет снять лицевую обшивку, так как электропроводка находится в передней части скутера.

Порой разъединить разъем получается даже без разборки, найдя его через отверстие, которое ведет от руля. Затем замыкаем красный и черный провода на разъеме, отключенном от замка зажигания, и тогда уже заводим скутер. Как правило, в комплекте со всеми китайскими моделями идет сигнализация. Если она установлена, то запуск скутера без ключа не будет более сложным: надо добраться до самой сигнализации и разъединить на разъеме подводящее питание к сигнализации, тогда скутер заведется с кик-стартера.

Особенности запуска японского скутера

Заводим скутер без ключа Одним из способов завести японский скутер без ключа является отключение от коммутатора, который находится рядом с аккумулятором, провода зажигания, который обычно бывает черно-белого цвета. После того как провод отключен, скутер заводится с помощью кик-стартера. На японских скутерах иногда устанавливается зажигание на три контакта, и, отсоединяя провода от замка, необходимо замкнуть между собой красно-черный и красный. Чтобы не пришлось разрывать провода, для их соединения можно применить перемычку в виде медной проволочки, а на скутерах Honda Dio 34-35 нужно установить еще одну перемычку между красно-черным и розовым проводами, потому что на розовый провод подается напряжение через стабилизатор, установленный на замке зажигания.
